Our Creative Curriculum is called "Mission Possible" which follows Commando Joe's. This is known in school as Mission Possible. This incorporates all of the following subjects:

Design Technology

To find out more about Commando Joe's and what it is about, please follow: Here you can find out benefits of the program.

However, some subjects are taught in discrete lessons rather than as part of a creative curricular theme, such as Science, Computing, Physical Education (PE), Religious Education (RE), Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE) including Sex and Relationship Education (SRE).

In the Autumn Term, both Key Stage 1 and 2 focus on 'Health and Well-Being', in Spring the theme is 'Relationships' across the school and in the Summer Term, the whole school learns about 'Living in the Wider World, Economic Wellbeing and being a Responsible Citizen.' The objectives ensure progression in the three themes throughout the school and each child is assessed every half term.

The DfE has recently reinforced the need “to create and enforce a clear and rigorous expectation on all schools to promote the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs.” The government set out its definition of British values in the 2011 Prevent Strategy and these values have been reiterated by the Prime Minister this year.
