In English, our focus book is Leaf by Sandra Dieckmann. During the summer term, we will be introducing the book to the class and also retelling the story with the use of actions. We will be rewriting our very own narrartive based on the story and learning more about polar bears and their habitat. This will lead to us writing a non-chronological report about polar bears. 

Appropriate spellings will be provided on 'Spelling Shed' every Friday. 

This half term the children will be looking adventurous vocabulary for effect and apostrophes for possession and contraction
