History
Spring 2
Learning Challenges:
LC1: What do you know about the Victorians?
LC2: What jobs did Victorian children have to do and what sort of childhood did they have?
LC3: What would it have been like to go to school in Victorian times?
LC4: What do you think you would have been doing on Saturday and Sundays 150 years ago?
LC5: How would you recreate some of LS Lowry's paintings?
We will continue our work on the Victorians by looking at what schools were like in the Victorian times. We will look at different sources such as photos and diaries from the past to find out what it was like. Once we have found out about school life, we will then make comparisons between schools now and schools from the past.
After this we will explore Victorian toys, using real artefacts to support our learning. We will handle and observe these artefacts to help us answer questions about the past and communicate our knowledge through drama and writing.
