Homework

Homework is set termly, based on the different themes being taught in class. Here you will find out about the homework for each term.

Spellings - spellings will be set every Friday on 'spelling shed'and children will be tested the following Friday. 

Reading - children are expected to have their reading diary in school every day and read at least three times during the week. Reading diaries will be checked on a Friday morning for Hazel and a Wednesday morning for Chestnut. Children earn a DOJO each time they bring their reading diary in and every time they read. 

Times Tables - children will be given a Times Table Rockstar login and will be expected to complete the times table games set for them. 

Key knowledge organiser- Children will be given copies of our Viking key knoweldge organiser and they are to try to learn these key facts and dates at home. Every 2 weeks, there will be a key knowledge quiz!
