Spring 2
In Maths we will be working on fractions. We will be making equal groups practically before finding half, quarter and a third of different shapes and quantities. We will be move on to looking at non-unit fractions such as three quarters and two quarters, as well as looking at the equivalance of half and two quarters.
After that we will be moving on to look at time. We will be learning to read clocks to the nearest quarter to and quarter past the hour, as well as recapping on half past and o'clock from Year One. We will also be looking at how many days in a year, how many minutes in an hour and seconds in a minute.
