Our Afternoon Learning

In the afternoon we cover other areas of the Early Years curriculum such as:

Personal, social, and emotional development

Understanding the World (we later call this Science, Geography and History)

Expressive Arts and Design (we later call this Art, DT, Drama)

Our learning question this half term is

Why is it dark at night?

During this topic we will be recognising and sorting nocturnal and diurnal animals. We will be exploring their characteristics, habitats and diet.

We will investigate shadows, and how they are formed and create our own shadow puppets to perform our own shows.
