KS2

Pupils in Key Stage Two follow an exciting curriculum, 'Mission Possible' which is based on heroes, heroines, explorers and adventurers from the past and the present. Each theme has a set of cross-curricular lessons and 'missions' based on famous figures like Sir Ranulph Finnes or Tim Peake.  There are plenty of practical and mental tasks to complete and each series of lessons is structered to give pupils the chance to develop the different learning powers; Resilience, Empathy, Self-awareness, Passion, Excellence, Communication and Teamwork.

Each lesson is linked to the national curriculum and ensures that the subject skills are embedded throughout. Teachers plan a series of lessons linked to the chosen explorer/adventurer/hero/heroine using the National Curriculum as a basis.

Below is a table showing which unit of Mission Possible is being taught to each year group across the year.
