Phonics Day

Class: Year 1 Year: 2016 - 2017

On Friday 27th January, Reception and Year 1 were part of a Phonics Day. The children took part in lots of different activities including active phonics, phonics and computing, sensory phonics and high frequency words.


In the afternoon parents were invited to come and join a Phonics lesson and play the games and activities that were set up in the classroom. Parents were also shown websites, programmes and games they could do at home with their child.
