English- Grammarsaurus

We start each year with The Place Value of Punctuation and Grammar.

These lessons review the fundamentals of punctuation and grammar necessary to be a fluent and confident writer.

After these building-block lessons, we move onto two writing units that focus on non-narrative units where children can apply these skills.

In Year 4, we will be writing a non-chronological report on extinct animals linking to our science unit.

Followed by a diary based on the story of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
