Geography - Lost and Found

Why can’t a penguin live near the equator? 

Using the key text Lost and Found, Year 1 children will be learning about  places near the equator compared to the north and south poles. 

We will learn the names of the 7 continents and the 5 oceans, follow simple compass directions and be able to ask geographical questions about a place.
