Welcome to Year 6!

The 2 classes in this year group are Beech and Sycamore.

Beech is taught by Mrs Lockett and Miss Little and they are assisted by Mrs Birch.

Sycamore is taught by Mr Triner and he is assisted by Mr Astley.

Uniform

Please label all uniform including coats, P.E. kit, shoes and jumpers. It is extremely difficult to locate lost uniform if it does not have a name on it. Jumpers will need to have the Beechwood logo.

Starting the Day

The school day starts at 8.45am. School finishes at 3.20pm.

As a school we are aiming for 100% attendance so please ensure that you are in on time.

P.E

P.E in Year 6 will be on Tuesday and Thursday. 

On the day that your child has P.E, they will need to come into school in their Beechwood P.E kit.

Snack

The cost of snack is £2.50 a week and this is paid through the school Gateway app. This includes toast and a drink each day or an alternative hot snack. Children can bring in snack from home however it needs to be a healthy option. 

Safeguarding

As a school, we take safeguarding very seriously. This includes internet safety and we are very aware that many children enjoy spending time on tablets, phones and even playing with Alexa!
