Welcome to Year Three

In Yew class the class teacher is Miss Cook,  Mrs Oakley (Thursday mornings) and Miss Jackson.

In Willow class the class teacher is Mrs Rendall (Monday-Thursday), with Mrs Oakley (Friday) and Mrs Jackson.

We also have Mr Pearce, Miss Owens and Mrs Curbishley as additional support across both classes.

PE day is on a Wednesday and a Friday for Yew Class and a Thursday and Friday for Willow Class.  Please ensure your child's PE kit is in school for that day. This includes a Beechwood PE tshirt, black shorts or jogging bottoms and trainers or pumps.

Starting the Day

Our class doors open at 8.45am, with registration at 8.50am. As a school we are aiming for 96% attendance so please ensure that you are in on time. If you arrive after the class doors shut, you will need to go to the school office.

Snack and Lunch

Lunch is £2.30 every day and this can be paid online via the School Gateway App. Please call the office if you need support accessing this.

If you child receives Free School Meals, they will continue to receive a school lunch for free.

The cost of snack is £3 per week. This includes one piece of toast and a piece of fruit each day or a alternative hot snack. This now needs to be paid in a block of £3 for 5 days worth of snacks.

If you wish your child to have a snack from home, please help us supporting making healthy choices,

Uniform

Please label all uniform including coats, P.E. kit, shoes, hats and jumpers. It is extremely difficult to locate lost uniform if it does not have a name on it. We will be labelling these items if they are not already labelled. Jumpers will need to have the Beechwood logo.

As a school, we take safeguarding very seriously. This includes internet safety and we are very aware that many children enjoy spending time on tablets, phones and even playing with Alexa!
