Earth Week
Earth Week's theme this year is SUSTAINABILITY!
The children loved learning about how to help protect the Earth. 
It kicked off with a whole school visit to Chester Zoo!
All children read "Somebody Swallowed Stanley" by Sarah Roberts and discussed the impact of plastic in our ocean and what we can do to make small changes in our daily lives.
We linked this to our RESPECT characterstic - EMPOWERMENT.
Children visited different teachers to enjoy a range of activities across the curriculum; from creating instruments from recycled items, taking part in a collaborative art project, building wind turbines and much much more!
