Maths Problem Solving Day

Across school, we have celebrated our problem solving skills in lots of different ways. Year 6 came to each class as helpers to support the children in their activities.

They had to draw on their RESPECT characteristics throughout the day such as teamwork, communication and resilience.

Some highlights were Year 5 working out the frequency ratio of keyboard notes, Year 3 measuring the length of different types of dinosaurs and Reception building the highest towers using numicon.

Years 3 - 6 were able to dress up as a rockstar and had a whole-school times table battle deciding who was quickest ---- pupils or teachers!!!
