Miss Cook - Assistant Headteacher

I'm Miss Cook and teach English and maths in Hazel (Y4).  

This is my eighth year here in Crewe and I love being part of the Beechwood team. I'm also very proud to be the FIRST Apple teacher at Beechwood and always looking for new ways for technology to support our learning at Beechwood. I helped Mrs Lockett launch Showbie and 1-to-1 iPads across Y3-6.

I lead maths across the school and have implemented lots of things to help your children with their number confidence such as: Mastering Number in Reception - Y2, Rolling Numbers in Y1-3 and Maths Shed in Y3-Y6. Don't forget to challenge me on TTRs - I love a times tables battle!

I organise wrap-around care at school which includes Breakfast Club, Treehouse (afterschool) Club and Holiday Club!

Apart from school, I love escaping to the beaches in Devon and bodyboarding with my little girl, Frankie!
