Spring 2

This term we will be looking at 'Living things'.  We will be classifiying animals and plants and discussing the '5 Kingdoms'.  Children will be involved in creating a fair test experiment and in some outdoor learning.

describe how living things are classified into broad groups according to common observable characteristics and based on similarities and differences, including micro-organisms, plants and animals
give reasons for classifying plants and animals based on specific characteristics.

WOW: Have a visit from someone bringing a range of spiders into school or create a large web in corner of the room.
